Sarah Reed brings a background in marketing, communications, development, management and film production. She has worked in brand and marketing communications in her own companies with national and global clients for the last thirty years. She has wide experience of the voluntary sector having been a volunteer for fifteen years and a trustee of Contact the Elderly. For the last six years Sarah has been developing an reminiscence activity designed to connect the generations and also writes a blog, The Age Page.

'We have to learn how to embrace all ages in our society and recognise that we all have something to offer to enhance each other’s lives,' says Sarah. 'Unfortunately, this isn’t a very fashionable viewpoint, although there are encouraging, if small signs that attitudes towards the segregation of different age groups – endemic in this country for the last forty years – are finally beginning to change.'
