Join us in this great opportunity to promote the work of Independent Age in the UK and Ireland.  Over the week we aim to raise £20,000 to fund our much needed services for older people.

Action Week coincides with National Older People’s Day (Thursday 1 October 2009).  The day is about bringing generations together, highlighting and celebrating the contribution older people make to our society.  Under the banner ‘Full of Life’, Older People’s Day tries to tackle negative attitudes and stereotypes and provide a more positive view of later life.
