Life at Abercorn House

Abercorn House is a purpose built home set in beautiful gardens.

Rooms

All rooms are furnished but we encourage new residents to make themselves at home by adding some of their own furniture or favourite objects. Every bedroom offers a wash-basin, TV socket and personal phone extension, if desired. There is wheelchair access throughout the home.

Dining

We cater for all diets and preferences. Birthdays are celebrated with a home-made cake.

Activities

We offer regular social activities to stimulate and interest residents. We have a dedicated diversional therapy unit where residents enjoy a varied programme of shared activities, led by trained staff. Activities range from discussions and games to film shows and cooking.

The conversation and laughter does everyone good. Residents can also enjoy growing flowers and vegetables in our raised garden area, which is designed with wheelchair users in mind.
