Care and fees

Care and fees

The reassurance of first-rate care around the clock

  • Experienced and qualified health care assistants are on duty 24 hours a day for everyone's health, safety and security
  • Every bedroom, lavatory and communal area has an emergency button which will summon immediate help
  • There is an extensive in-house NVQ staff training and development programme
  • For continuity of care, residents are encouraged to remain with their family GP, providing that their GP can visit them here.
  • If a family GP is unable to visit, then residents can see our own GP who holds surgery here once a week
  • There are regular visits from chiropodists, dentists and opticians
  • We have a hairdresser who visits at lease once a week
  • Residents can be visited by a minister of their own choice, or have arrangements made to attend the place of worship of their choice. Communion Service is also held twice a month.

We provide a high standard of personalised care for older people who are physically frail or suffering from dementia. Although we offer respite care, this is only available if we have a vacancy and so cannot be booked in advance.

The rooms at Randell House are all singles, there is a lift and wheelchair access.
