Life at Randell House

Life at Randell House

Randell House is an elegant property with a pretty garden and a chapel in the grounds.

Rooms

All rooms are furnished but we encourage new residents to make themselves at home by adding some of their own furniture or favourite objects. Every bedroom offers a wash basin, TV socket and personal phone extension, if desired. Residents are welcome to make their own morning and afternoon drinks in well-equipped kitchenettes.

Dining

We cater for all diets and preferences. Birthdays are celebrated with a home-made cake.

Natural interest

The conservatory at Randell House has been designed as a place of interest and enjoyment for every resident – however frail. In this bright environment there are tanks of tropical fish and restful water features. Many residents find simply sitting in the sunshine among the plants and flowers lifts the spirits.

Activities

We are delighted to offer regular social activities. Trained staff lead shared sessions which range from discussions to film shows. Such activities have been shown to promote mental and physical well-being and the shared laughter does everyone good.

Outings

Less than a quarter of a mile away, there is a chemist, post office, hairdresser, off-licence, general store and two churches. There are also three pubs within a radius of a mile and a half. A minibus is available for local shopping trips, pub lunches and other outings. There is beautiful countryside nearby for seasonal visits.
