Could you spare some time to visit an older person?
Many older people are isolated and forced to cope alone with no-one to turn to for company and support. Our volunteer visitors provide a source of friendship which is valued just as highly as the financial help we give.

How you can help
- By visiting local Independent Age beneficiaries a few times a year.
- By providing a friendly voice on the telephone.
- By raising awareness locally of the help Independent Age offers.
- By helping with vital fundraising events.
Just a few hours a month makes all the difference
You will be supported by a local Independent Age representative and meet up with other volunteers in your area from time to time. For more information, email our Organising Volunteer Coordinator, Moira Cane, or phone her on 020 7605 4255, with the following details about yourself: name, address, telephone number, your level of mobility and the types of transport you have available to you.
